Margit, the Fell Omen is the first major story boss encountered by most players in Elden Ring. He blocks access to Stormveil Castle and tests your mastery of early-game combat mechanics.
Margit is a powerful, agile opponent who mixes melee combos with magic weapons and long-range attacks.

🧠 General Tips
* Margit has long, telegraphed combos — dodge late, not early. * His tail swipe is quick and punishes players trying to circle-strafe. * Summon Spirit Ashes or Rogier to divide his attention. * You can use Margit’s Shackle (purchasable from Patches) to stun him twice in Phase 1.
🔥 Phase 1
* Key attacks:
- Staff swings and heavy overhead slam
- Triple magic dagger throw
- Tail swipe if you get behind him
* Learn to time dodges through delayed strikes
🔥 Phase 2 (Below 60% HP)
* Summons a holy hammer and sword * More aggressive combos, longer attack chains * Hammer slams deal AoE — roll or sprint out of range * Stay close to bait melee attacks instead of spells

📖 Lore
Margit is a projection of Morgott, the Omen King, sent to judge Tarnished attempting to reach the Erdtree. Though only a fragment of his true self, Margit reveals Morgott’s disdain for ambition and weakness.

* Margit and Morgott share animations, voice, and lore identity. * You can use Margit's Shackle to pin him briefly during Phase 1. * His voice actor is the same as Godfrey (and Hoarah Loux).
