Margit, the Fell Omen is the first major story boss encountered by most players in Elden Ring. He blocks access to Stormveil Castle and tests your mastery of early-game combat mechanics. Margit is a powerful, agile opponent who mixes melee combos with magic weapons and long-range attacks.

* Margit has long, telegraphed combos — dodge late, not early. * His tail swipe is quick and punishes players trying to circle-strafe. * Summon Spirit Ashes or Rogier to divide his attention. * You can use Margit’s Shackle (purchasable from Patches) to stun him twice in Phase 1.
