**Godrick the Grafted** is the first major **Shardbearer** boss in *Elden Ring*, encountered at the end of **Stormveil Castle**. Obsessed with power, Godrick has grafted the limbs of fallen warriors to his own body, becoming a grotesque symbol of desperation and ambition.

He is aggressive, unpredictable, and transforms into an even more terrifying form in Phase 2 — wielding the head of a dragon as a weapon.

Godrick is a distant relative of **Queen Marika** and claims descent from **Godfrey**, the first Elden Lord. His inferiority complex led to the grotesque act of **grafting limbs** from fallen warriors and demigods onto himself.

Though widely mocked by other Shardbearers, his desperation makes him terrifying in combat — and symbolic of the corruption that grips the Lands Between.
